Responsible gambling
Betting should be entertainment — never a way to make money, pay bills or escape problems.

18+ only. TipSense publishes analysis and predictions for information only. We don't take bets and don't link to bookmakers. Our tips are opinions: even good tipsters have long losing runs, and past results never guarantee future ones.
Keep it fun
- Set a budget before you start — money you can afford to lose — and stick to it.
- Set a time limit too, and take regular breaks.
- Never chase losses. A loss is the price of the entertainment, not a debt to win back.
- Don't bet when you're upset, stressed, lonely or have been drinking.
- Never borrow money or use money meant for rent, bills or food to bet.
- Treat any tip — ours included — as one opinion, not a sure thing. Units in our track record are notional stakes, not advice on how much to bet.
- Keep time for family, friends and other interests.
Signs that betting may be a problem
- You bet more than you planned, or more and more to get the same excitement.
- You chase losses or feel you have to win money back.
- You hide your betting, or lie about how much time or money you spend.
- You borrow money, sell things or miss payments because of betting.
- Betting affects your sleep, work, studies, relationships or mood.
- You feel anxious, guilty or irritable when you try to cut down.
If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone — and help works. Talk to someone you trust, or to one of the services below.
Tools that help
- Deposit and time limits — licensed bookmakers must let you set them in your account. Set them before you start, not after a loss.
- Self-exclusion — you can exclude yourself from a bookmaker, and in many countries from all licensed operators at once through a national register (for example GAMSTOP in the UK).
- Blocking software — apps such as Gamban or BetBlocker block gambling sites and apps on your devices.
- Bank gambling blocks — many banks let you block gambling payments on your card in their app.
- Take a break from TipSense — turn off notifications, cancel VIP in your App Store or Google Play account, or simply delete the App. If you'd like us to delete your data too, email support@tipsense.app.

- We have no bookmaker partners, affiliate links or advertising from betting operators.
- We don't target anyone under 18 and ask every user to confirm their age.
